Account Settings

The Account settings page is where you configure your company's identity within Shaari. The information you enter here appears on your invoices, quotations, contracts, and reports, so keeping it accurate is essential for professional presentation and legal compliance.

Company Name and Information

Set your company's official name in both Arabic and English. These names appear on:

  • Sales invoices and credit/debit notes.
  • Quotations and contracts.
  • PDF reports and exports.
  • The header of your Shaari dashboard.

If your company operates under a trade name that differs from its legal name, use the legal name here and the trade name in your profile or branding settings.

Logo Upload

Upload your company logo to brand your documents. The logo appears on:

  • Printed and PDF invoices.
  • Quotations sent to customers.
  • Sales contracts.
  • Reports and exports.

Supported formats: PNG, JPG, and JPEG. For best results, use a high-resolution logo with a transparent background (PNG). The recommended dimensions are at least 200x200 pixels.

tip

Upload your logo in a square or landscape aspect ratio for the best appearance on invoices. Very tall or narrow logos may be resized in ways that look stretched on printed documents.

VAT Number

Enter your company's VAT registration number as issued by ZATCA (Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority). This number is critical for:

  • Sales invoices --- Saudi tax regulations require the seller's VAT number to appear on every tax invoice.
  • ZATCA Phase 2 compliance --- The VAT number is embedded in the e-invoice XML and the QR code.
  • Customer verification --- Your customers use this number to verify your tax registration.

The VAT number is a 15-digit number starting with "3" and ending with "3" (e.g., 300000000000003).

caution

Ensure your VAT number is entered correctly. An incorrect VAT number will cause ZATCA e-invoice submissions to be rejected, and printed invoices with wrong VAT numbers may be considered non-compliant.

CR Number

Enter your Commercial Registration (CR) number as issued by the Ministry of Commerce. The CR number identifies your business entity and appears on official documents alongside your VAT number.

Country and Locale Settings

Configure your business location and regional preferences:

  • Country --- Your primary country of operation. This affects default tax rates, address formatting, and regulatory features.
  • Currency --- The default currency for invoices and transactions (typically SAR for Saudi-based businesses).
  • Language --- The default language for your Shaari interface and documents.

These settings establish defaults that apply across the platform.

Business Address

Enter your company's official business address. For Saudi-based companies, this follows the Saudi National Address format:

  • Building number
  • Street name
  • District
  • City
  • Postal code (5 digits)
  • Additional number (4 digits)

The business address appears on invoices and official documents. For companies with multiple locations, enter your headquarters or registered address here. Branch addresses can be managed through the Subsidiaries feature on the Enterprise plan.

note

Your business address is separate from any project site addresses. The address entered here represents your company's official registered address for legal and tax purposes.
